In school Coaching (PPA Cover)

In term time we provide structured P.E. lessons in primary schools covering teachers PPA time. These lessons are taken by qualified sports coaches, are set to the curriculum and are a cost effective way of ensuring teachers (Key Stage 1 and 2) spend the correct amount of time out of the classroom. While sticking to the national curriculum Actif 24/7 will maintain its core value of ‘developing sporting potential’.

·         Each teacher will receive progression and assessment reports at the end of each school placement.

·         Each child will receive an Actif 24/7 certificate with appropriate level of improvement in each/ one sport and will also receive healthy eating advice at each session.

This coaching has proven to help raise standards of the school teams. While coaching at schools Actif 24/7 coaches can stick to one sport or offer to do a wide range of sport (depending on each school needs) .

At Actif 24/7 we know it is not easy to balance PPA time with the demands of a busy school schedule. With government reports stating there is a obesity crisis, Actif 24/7 will help reach the set down national standards of physical activity laid down by the Welsh Assembly Government to over come this.

Through this the Actif 24/7 PPA package is designed to keep your pupils active while meeting the changing demands of today's Primary Schools.

When two or more teachers need to collaborate over lesson plans, we can introduce extra coaches. We can tailor sessions to suit time, space and needs of each school. While with each school’s limited budget in mind, we can tailor sessions to suit time and space available of each school with all our coaches fully qualified, CRB checked, with all equipment supplied at affordable price.

At Actif 24/7 we are ready to provide an in school demo on request.
